The Creamery

The ISU Creamery Store sells a selection of ice cream flavors as individual or packaged take-home servings. The ice cream menu rotates daily. Many of the flavors are named to honor Cyclone traditions and history. Founded in 1880, The Creamery continues to provide ISU students with hands-on, farm-to-table dairy production experience.

Joan Bice Underwood Tearoom

The Joan Bice Underwood Tearoom is a restaurant/classroom teaching operation within ISU’s world-renowned hospitality management program. The facility dates back to 1926, when an addition project was constructed in MacKay. It is named for Joan Bice, a 1952 graduate of home economics. Bice enjoyed working in the Tearoom. In 2001, a generous donation was made to honor Joan Bice Underwood. The renovations restored the Tearoom to what Bice would have experienced in the early 1950s.
